Sheila Hall Elected President of American Concrete Institute Arizona Chapter
Sheila Hall was elected the 2024-2026 President for the Arizona Chapter of the American Concrete Institute. She had been serving as Vice President since 2022 and previously was elected to the Board of Directors in 2019. Upon joining the Board, Sheila immediately became involved with the Chapter events and programs and has been instrumental in bringing awareness to Design Mix specifications and in bringing project teams together, so that they can work to address problems before they become issues.
“[Sheila] gives her time and energy to many in the industry, and as one of the leading Chapters in the world, we are fortunate to have her leading us.”
– Beth Britt, AZACI Executive Director
Sheila has also been working with Az Construction Career Days (AzCCD) since 2007, when the Association for Construction Career Development (ACCD) was initiated. This annual event reaches out to all High School students throughout the State of Arizona to give hands-on construction experience. Sheila has served as the Site Coordinator for AzCCD and as the Board Secretary for ACCD since 2008.
AzCCD is an example of public-private partnerships with the Arizona construction industry. Her willingness to help anywhere she is needed is appreciated and her experience working for Caruso Turley Scott structural engineers, helps guide her goals as President to advance the educational programs of the Chapter to engage the engineering community and the Young Professionals that are our future leaders.
